Oh Happy Day :)

Just. Look. At. That. Face.

How could anybody, ANYBODY, ever say no to that face?

Yeahh.. I am SUCH a sucker for my dog...I mean...those EYES and the perky little ears...

AW!!

Cool people can wear pirate patches...and totally pull it off!!! :)

And these faces...PRICELESS :P (P.S. Only a place like Sir Gooney's has pirate patches.)

So. Onto the story of the day :)

Well as most of you know, I am on summer vacation (out of school) and today has been fabulous. Sometimes I moan about being homeschooled, and how people give you weird looks when you tell them, and how you can't really be on sports teams, or miss out on stuff like seeing your friends every single day.

But really, when I think about it, I'm super lucky. I have so much freedom, and although I don't want to stereotype or generalize, I have typically found that homeschoolers ten to be more down to earth then most public schoolers I know. Of course, there are exceptions to rule, like my amazing friend Kristina, but most of the time, I hav found the above to be true.

Especially the guys. I dunno what it is, but the guys they are so nice and smart and SENSIBLE. Sensible sounds weird, but compared to most teenage guys I know, they are just really down to earth and smart. They don't take stupid risks, or brag about themselves, or talk about basketball all the time, or heaven forbid, talk about hot girls.

I can actually carry on a innteligent conversation with them, and they are so mature and it's just so refreshing!! Sorry about the slight rant...but i just get so tired sometimes of stupid guys. Their rude, and there totally self absorbed. It's so nice to be able to have guys as friends that you can actually TALK with, not just roll your eyes at.

OH WELL!!! LOL!!!

Well I can't wait till tomorrow...I'm going swimming!!

Loooove,

Victoria

Love is Confusing

Hey girls! It's a beautiful Friday afternoon, and I have been in the car all day! Went and picked up my Dad, and went to go eat, and then dropped off my Dad. I want to get my hair cut. I want to get my bangs cut and trim my split-ends, and then curl it up all cute like. When I do I will post pictures.

But of course I didn't start this post to talk about my hair (wouldn't that be crazy!~ But the topic at hand--my confusion lately with boys, and other things, but mainly boys :)
And I mean, who CAN'T realate to that? Boys are highly confusing creatures, sometimes horribly obvious, sometimes so clammed up you have n idea what's going on in their heads.
Lately it's not really been romantic problems with guys...just argh-ish things with guys in general, mainly my guy friends.
They are my friends--an when they are around they are fun to be around. At church. They make church fun--they are funny and goofy and easy to joke around with.
They can also be incredibly caring, they can be supportive, extremely funny.
I have an outgoing nature that tends to be a bit funny and witty, and since most guys I know are like that too, I tend to get along with them well. :)
That's the good things about them...the things that make me love them as bros and love to hang out with them. But sometimes...it gets confusing.
Like when your friend keeps staring at you,and your thinkin...maybe he wants to be more then just friends.
That's my current agravattion...yes, that has happened to me by my guy friends...and I'm like what???
I don't mind...I mean I like all those guys as friends, and find i flattering that they do that, but nothing is never really SAID.
They just do the above things...and that leaves me having no idea WHAT to think.
I just try to act normal, but it all gets complicated you know? You start expecting those little flattering gestures, but you don't know if you actually like the guy...I mean of course you like them, but LIKE like them? I don't know.
Then of course, they don't make it easy as all that.
It would be less complicated if they acted like that all the time, then I could draw an educated guess, "okay, he stares at me all the time, so he must like me."
Yeah but they don't do it all the time. Very rare they do.
I wish it would be consistent, but it isn't, and that's what makes me confused.
I wish i could forget about it, and be normal with the guys, and usally I am, but sometimes it's hard to ignore. And sometimes I don't want to ignore it, if that make sense. Those guys are my friends, but it's one of those awkward things where your friend's with someone, but are slightly attracted to them anyways.
So, I'm slightly attracted to some of those guys, so when they pa attention to me, it makes me happy.
I guess I just have to wait and see...but isn't it frustrating?
I hope I'm not just raaaaaaaambling on and on about my problems and you guys have no idea what's going on...that would be embarasing, but hey, it's been on my mind, I thought I'd like to share it. :)

I don't know...my day hasn't been to awesome,I mean, it was okay, just not great, I hope ya'lls friday was great. :)
Have a great weekend!!!

Heartbreak Rememberances

Hey girls...this little blogger is kinda odd today. :( Oh well, that gives me more time to sit here and write!
So. My topic today is not a very happy one, but it's pretty much all I can think about, and then when I do, I am shocked at myself.
You see, for years I have been the kinda girl for "the girl who doesn't need guys". And I really meant it too. I had had to many heartbreaks and had decided--enough. I'm not doing this anymore, guys just aren't worth it. So I was single for like forever.
But now...I kinda broke the cardinal rule of being a single independent girl....yeahhh I kinda fell in love.
Well, maybe not in LOVE, but like really liking a guy.
And now I'm scared that I'm going to lose him. I never really understood the feeling before, I always thought, "How could those girls be in such a train wreck over a guy? They need to move on!". But know that that feeling is happening to ME, when I really care about a guy, I understand how awful it is. I don't even know for sure, but it's still driving me crazy.
Now I finally understand what it feels like, and it doesn't feel good at all. I almost feel guilty, like I'm not supposed to let a guy mean this much to me.
It's all jumbled up inside. I like him so much, and it would hurt SO bad to lose him, but in the end, I know it doesn't matter. God is what truly matters and in the big picture, it doesn't matter if I lose a guy.
But that doesn't stop it from stinging now. It's so weird,I mean I'm 13,but I feel totally new to this guy\dating\heartbreak stuff. Before I couldn't care less about guys, I was a regular girl.
Guys were my friends, and that was it. Guys liked me, but I didn't really care. It was fun, but I never met a guy that captured my intrest.
Now I have. And I want him to be my boyfriend. That's where the fear comes in. What if he doesn't like me that way? What if he never asks me out? What if this is all in my head?
Yeah. So this inexperienced girlie is gonna have to figure it out I guess...how have you girls handeled guy problems? I'd like to hear stories, or advice, considering I know like zip.
I know, a weird blog post, but I can't really focus on anything else.
Geez, being a girl is super tough. What with our issues with our self esteem, PMS, and confusing guys, it's a pretty crazy and tough world out there...but I know we'll get through it.
I've got God, my family, and amazing friends that will help me get through any trial, so I've got to stay hopeful, and trust God no matter what.
So sorry for this slightly weird and depressing post, but a blogger needs to be honest with her readers. She can't just put on a happy face when things aren't going great, that would be lying to her readers, which I refuse to do.
So, I'm having a bit of a bad day today, but I'll get over it, and in the meantime, you guys have an awesome Friday!
Love,
Victoria
