joke :P

There were to young boys, one called Shut Up and the other called Trouble.

One day, the boys were in town. They got separated, and Shut Up decided to ask a policeman for help. "What's your name, boy?" the officer asked him. "Shut Up" the boy replied. The police officer was annoyed, "Are you looking for trouble?""Yes, Sir."

talk about what YOU want!!

Okaay girlz. I thought that, because I still need to come up with a post to do :S that we could just...talk. And maybe give some ideas about what you'd like me to post. That'd be great. So, let's just...talk. U rok! :P :) xox Victoria

Differences may occur, but one thing will never change.

Ok, everyone is different, right? But sometimes there are bigger differences than those normal every day ones. Differences like --- being deaf, being blind, being mute. Imagine, if you couldn't hear, or couldn't see, or couldn't speak. Imagine if you could no longer read your favourite book, or listen to your favovurite song, or have long talk with your best friends...

If you were deaf -- you would still be able to read your favourite book.

If you were blind, you'd still be able to listen to your favourite music.

If you couldn't talk, you could still text your friends on your mobile...

But you wouldn't be able to do all of these things. Only one. Wouldn't life be so different? I mean really -- things change all the time. But how would you cope with something so drastic as losing your hearing, or a friend going blind?! It just seems...unreal. Change is part of life, though.

Or maybe...

Your friends parents get dicorced, even though when you were younger, they seemed almost as good as your own parents.

Your best friend dyes her gorgeous dark brown hair blonde, to look like those popular girls -- and it just looks fake -- her trying to be something she isn't.

Your family decides to move -- you'll have to leave your best friends...

Homework -- in primary school, you had next to no homework. Now your in high school...

Or maybe...

There is a fire -- and someone you loved, or yourself -- had their house burn down.

Someone you loved died.

You have a fight with one of your friends, and it just doesn't seem to work between the two of you anymore...

But still -- one thing will never, ever change. And that is --God loves us. And he always will. He will never leave us, even when we turn away -- he will still be right beside us, waiting for you. He will never leave us, never run ahead. Our jouney with God? We walk it with him, every step of the way.

ur style--don't forget

All this talk of style. We just have to remember something. Even though, at times, it might seem like fashion is SO important. But we're not here for long. God has WAY better plans for us -- going to Heaven sounds pretty awesome too me! But that's not what I'm posting this to say. I'm here to say -- God doesn't see the outside's. You've probably been hearing that since you were 5 years old, but until now, it didn't really click to me. Then, suddenly, I realized -- God doesn't look at the outside's. Literally. He doesn't. He really does just focus about what's inside us. What's on the outside really just...doesn't matter to him. No, don't worry -- I'm not saying wear the same pants and top for the rest of your life. Just try really hard not to make fashion one of your main priorities in your life...

Sacrifice

Most of you have probably seen the movie"The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", based on the book by CS Lewis. "It was written to help us understand what Jesus did for us". So, all these years, I've known that's what CS Lewis is trying to show us.

In the particular part of the movie I'm talking about, the four children (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy) are at the camp grounds with Aslan and all the other creatures on the "Good" side.

Then the Witch comes, declaring that, because he was a "traitor", Edmund now belonged to her. Aslan went into the tent with the Witch, and they talked. A while later, they both come out. Aslan tells Edmund that he did no longer belong to the Witch, and everyone cheers. But, Lucy sees the longing in Aslans eyes.

That night, Aslan gets up and leaves camp. Susan and Lucy, who can't sleep, follow him. They walk beside him, until Aslan tells them he must continue alone. They watch, in horror, as the Witch and her wicked creature's kill Alsan on the Stone Table, mocking him, cutting off his fur.

Can you see how much that resembles when Jesus died for us? He died, on the cross, just so that we, sinners, could live. Just like Aslan gave up his life for Edmund, so that he wouldn't end up with the Witch.

Wow, there is so much to focus on.

Faith...

Ephesians 2:8
"For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

What was that?-- WHAT is a gift from God? Oh, yeah -- faith.

Have you ever wondered, where IS this from? I mean, how come I really believe that God is here, that Jesus died on the cross, rised after three days -- and now he lives inside me -- how come I believe that?Well, here's how -- it's called FAITH.

Where do you get it? Like the verse said, faith is a gift from God.

Hmm. I'm wondering -- so, I know it's a gift from God. But if you're gonna ask Him for it, then you must already HAVE it, because if you're gonna ask God for it, then you must believe that he's real.. right?

Like, we know that wind exists, right? Yeah. But we can't see it. Then how come we know that it's here? ... because we see things affected because of it -- trees move, for example. If there was no wind, then the trees wouldn't move.

We gotta have faith that God's here. And for me, how do I know this? Simply because I cannot imagine life without God. Seriously. I cannot imagine it. I suppose that'd be easier for me.

I mean, My Mom taught me about God. It's how my Mom raised me, with God. And because I've had God around me my whole life, well, my life'd just seem so empty without Him.

Do you have faith in God? Do you believe it? Do you WANT it? don't hesitate. Ask God... after all he's right here.

Friends...

SO, HOW DO I GET THEM?

How do you think that you can get more friends? Are you convinced there must be something wrong with you? Or maybe you're looking for the wrong type of friend... I don't know.

But I DO know of some advice I can give you -- Don't forget about God -- he wants to be your friend. So, even if you feel like the most friendless person on the planet? Well, your not. But I know it can seem like you need human friends -- and you do.

I mean, that's why God created Eve --so that Adam wouldn't be all alone.Tell God about all this stuff. ASK Him to bring you a friend. And even though it might seem like this new friend didn't work out -- well, maybe this isn't the one God sent you. Maybe it'll come when you least expect it...Remember that verse in Proverbs 17:17 -- "A friend loves at all times". Love everyone -- you are a friend.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THEY'RE FOR REAL?

Ever experienced friends that aren't real? I mean, they're real in appearence and stuff -- but after you've shared all your precious secrets and everything, they ditch you, or blab them to your whole school or something? Now, don't go around doing a background check on them or something, like the detectives do -- but you can observe them, when they're around other people. What are they like? How are others treated differently to how he/she treats you?

DO I REALLY NEED THEM?

Friends, that is.Yeah, we do.

I THOUGHT DOGS AND STUFF COULD BE ARE FRIEND!!

Sure, they can be our friends. I mean my Mom's spoiled pomeranian Baby--- is soo cute! I love him. But how could he be my best friend?

I hope this helped you girlz, I sure did learn alot!!

It's A Gift!!

Okay, onto todays lesson, "It's a Gift".

God gave every single person at least one special gift. Whether it's singing or acting, or dancing or writing, or sports or maths, or science or music, or mystery solving or speaking --or anything else!

Hmm, I'm starting to get sick of the word "or".Perhaps I over-used it a little.. =P

So, you have your gift. Or gifts. You're naturally good at these things. You enjoy doing these things.

But sometimes we figure, "Hey, I'm WAY better than everyone in my house at this," -- Maybe everybody in the world even -- that we start to think, "I don't really need to practice, because I'm as good as I need to be!"

But that's totally not true. You can always work harder. You can always get better at what you do!

Here's something I got of a blog: There'll always be someone better than you at something, and someone worse.

And just because the persons worse than you, doesn't mean they have no abilities -- it means their gift is different to yours.

What about the person whose better than you? Well, your certainly not supposed to hate them, or be jealous. I think it's supposed to motivate you, to encourage you to keep practicing, to keep trying to get better -- to love what you do so much that you want to get better and better!

Oh, and don't ever think that you're not good at anything. I mean, that's not a crime -- I think that sometimes. Even though I know that it's not true -- I still think it... God gave us our gifts for a reason.

Don't use them for the wrong purposes -- use your gift/s to honour God! To glorify God! Use your gifts for God. :)

Miracles?

Maybe you sometimes think, "Does God really still do miracles? Does he still hang around, to see what we're doing?"

Even though it may not seem so sometimes, the answer is yes.

Take this, for example -- a month or so ago, at a train station, a young mother's baby carrier ran away (By the wind, not the child). And you know what? It fell onto the tracks; a split second later the train sped past. Can you imagine what that mother must of been feeling right about then? To see her baby being run over by a train? The thought of it makes me sick. But do you know what? The toddler wasn't even bruised; he came out alive.

There is nothing you can call that but a miracle. God was there. He protected that baby. He was watching over it. Such an amazing story. :)Have faith. There doesn't have to be an explanation for everything.

Have faith and believe God has done something here. :)I mean, check out this miracle.

God gave Moses the power to divide the red sea. How do you divide a sea?! Can you just imagine seeing that happen? I can't... it'd be cool though!

Have a look around; instead of being bored, see what's around. Have a look at some of the miracles you never noticed before; because they're there.

MY Blog!!

This blog is for YOU to make some awesome new friends, as well as share advice & what you think --

as well as to learn about God, faith, love, friends... everything YOU want to know!

Victoria's Girly Girl Corner is a blog for girlz to be reunited as friends, not enemies.

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times...

Remebering the old times!!

Old times. Remember the times when you did everything the same as your best friend?

Remember the time when all us girlz wrote. " AAYF" ( As Always Your Friend) at the end of each comment we wrote?

Remember when you first started you blog? Remember the way you used to go to your friends house all the time, back when you lived in a different town? Remember how you always dreamed of becoming a famous singer, and signed autographs to your "fans"? Remember the times you hated someone so bad you hurt them? Remember the time someone hurt you? ...

Remember the time you asked God to forgive them, to forgive you? That's a lot of rembering, girlz.

Today, I have three questions for you to answer. They are: Remember the time you started your blog. What made you create it? Did you even know why you were doing this?

Remember the time you discovered your favourite singer. Who was she/he? What made you love them? How did they change your perspective on something?...And, the final question.

Remember the time you decided to give your life to God. Maybe you were only a little kid, and prayed a prayer when you were with your mum or dad -- or both. Maybe you was at a friend's house-- and had a life changing expirence? Or maybe, one day, you just knew that's what you have to do. Or maybe you're not ready to make this decision yet.

Whatever the answer, I'd love to hear it. And, girlz, remember -- comment them in a post -- for the "Dear Victoria" advice section. COMING SOON!!! :)Luv,Victoria

The Lemonade Stand

What do you to, to set up a lemonade stand?

You make the lemonade.

Make sure you have the right amount of lemon, water & sugar (Unless there are other ingredients -- in that case, you'll have to have the right amount of them, too, lol)

Buy a lot of cups, so that there'll be enough for everyone to have some.

Decide on a price that people will have to pay to buy some lemonade.

Set up shop, with a banner or something advertising your shop. Right. All that's done.

Then people start walking by. You want to sell them your lemonade, but you're not sure what to say. "Hello! Buy some lemonade!"

Okay, so I guess you could say that. But what if they just walk past? Uh, rejection!

Someone stops, buys a cup, then walks a couple of steps away before trying it. He spits it out; I guess you put too much of something, or too less of something in the mixture.

By the end of the day, you've sold 5 cups of lemonade. Not a very promising profit, hey?

But read on.

Holding a lemonade stand is a bit like leading people to Jesus.

You have to figure out what to say -- and how you're gonna say it.

Just like you made your banner, and put the ingredients into the lemonade mixture.People walk past, not listening to what you're trying to tell them. You're business isn't going too good -- is there something wrong with what you're saying?

Is there something missing?

You might have to rethink the "recipe" -- maybe ask God what you're missing?

Don't be discouraged, though; the next day, there's a new lemonade stand.

This kid, about your age -- is having a great success, selling her lemonade almost as soon as she can make it. She has the right amount of everything, and it's working; the final result sounds good to people.

By getting out there and trying, you were an inspiration for this young girl -- because you got out there and gave it ago, this girl got out there and changed some lives.

What's the mixture like in your lemonade jar? Too sour, to strong? Not enough of something? Keep working at it, you'll get it

Cliques

If someone tries to recruit you into her Clique Army, avoid her, or if it's remotely possible, try to make peace. (You just know the fight is over something stupid like a miscommunication, or an argument about whether pink is cooler than black.)

Cliques

If a clique fight breaks out, it can get ugly. For some reason, a girl in a clique fight will try to create an "army" for herself. Somehow the winner will be the girl who has more girls on HER side.

CLIQUES [pronounced "CLICKS"] AND POPLARITY Part 2

But cliques aren't necessarily bad. A clique can be a blessing because growing up is tough to do, and it's nice to have support of good friends who are going through the same things you are. Plus, you can have a few good friends in the clique and then other, more causal friends also. As the friendships shift and little arguments break out between people, you can shift your friendships around a little and still have the safety of the group.

CLIQUES [pronounced "CLICKS"] AND POPLARITY

Social groups, or "cliques," are never more important to a girl's world than during 5th through 8th grades. Cliques do exist in high school, college, and even the adult world, but it's in middle school that girls start to get used to the idea of being in a social group.
